Position Details:
  • Employment Type: Full-Time.
  • Schedule Flexibility Required: Candidates must be flexible with scheduling based on clinic needs.
  • Clinic Hours: Majority of shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
  • Shift Availability: Ability to work morning or afternoon shifts depending on operational needs.
  • Weekend Requirement: Saturdays are required, as the clinic is open on weekends.
  • Pay Range: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Experience Preferred: Prior veterinary technician experience strongly preferred, especially in anesthesia, surgery, and dental procedures.

Key Responsibilities.
Clinical Duties:
  •  Independently run and monitor anesthesia throughout procedures.
  •  Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures.
  •  Perform and assist with dental cleanings and extractions as directed by the DVM.
  •  Monitor patient recovery and provide post-operative care.
  •  Take and process digital radiographs.
  •  Assist with diagnostics and laboratory procedures.
  •  Educate clients regarding treatment plans, medications, and preventative care.
  •  Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

Dental Responsibilities:
  •  Perform dental cleanings efficiently and thoroughly.
  •  Assist with dental radiographs and extractions.
  •  Support the clinic’s growing dental caseload and procedural workflow.

Operations & Leadership Responsibilities:
  •  Manage inventory levels, supply ordering, and inventory tracking with oversight from clinic management.
  •  Maintain controlled substance logs under the DEA license of the attending DVM.
  •  Assist with staff scheduling to support workflow and patient demand.
  •  Support daily clinic operations and workflow efficiency.
  •  Serve as a lead technician under the clinic site manager.
  •  Help train, guide, and support veterinary assistants and support staff as needed.

Qualifications:
  •  Veterinary technician experience preferred.
  •  Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  •  Strong experience with anesthesia monitoring and dental procedures required.
  •  Ability to independently manage anesthesia cases.
  •  Experience with dental cleanings and extractions strongly preferred.
  •  Inventory management and/or scheduling experience preferred.
  •  Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  •  Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  •  Dependable, team-oriented, and detail-focused mindset.
  •  Flexible scheduling availability required to support clinic needs and varying hours.
