Position Details:
  • Employment Type: Full-Time.
  • Schedule Flexibility Required: Must be flexible to support varying clinic needs.
  • Clinic Hours: Majority of shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (morning or afternoon shifts as needed).
  • Weekend Requirement: Saturdays required.
  • Pay Range: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Experience Level: Experienced technician preferred.

Key Responsibilities.
Clinical Duties:
  •  Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
  •  Independently monitor anesthesia and support patient safety throughout procedures.
  •  Perform surgical preparation and recovery monitoring.
  •  Take and process digital radiographs.
  •  Assist with diagnostic testing and in-house laboratory work.
  •  Administer medications and treatments as directed by the DVM.
  •  Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
  •  Provide compassionate patient handling and client communication.

Dental Responsibilities:
  •  Perform dental cleanings with efficiency and attention to detail.
  •  Assist with dental radiographs and extractions under DVM direction.
  •  Support the clinic’s dental program and help increase case capacity.

Leadership & Clinical Support:
  •  Provide support and guidance to veterinary assistants as needed.
  •  Help maintain workflow efficiency in a small team environment.
  •  Assist with inventory organization and clinic supply management.
  •  Support daily operational flow and contribute to team coordination.

Qualifications:
  •  Veterinary technician experience required.
  •  Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  •  Strong experience with anesthesia monitoring required.
  •  Dental cleaning and dental procedure experience strongly preferred.
  •  Ability to independently manage anesthesia cases.
  •  Experience with radiology and surgical assistance preferred.
  •  Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  •  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, small clinic environment.
  •  Dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  •  Flexible availability required, including Saturdays and variable shift coverage.
